This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Heritage Bayswater in Ballet Pink Soft Grain Leather with Shiny Pale Gold Hardware.

Crafted from an incredibly beautiful hide, Soft Grain Leather is no longer produced by Mulberry however it's closest to the new Heavy Grain, (RRP £1,395)

Thick and super-supple, the grain is large and pebbly and the form fabulously curvy... this classic Bayswater is just so pretty.

A gentle, nude-marshmallow pink shade with apricot undertones, it's ideal if you find beige too 'blah' but pastels too pink!

Changing colour in the light, the pale gold hardware compliments the colourway perfectly, though please note a manufacturing issue with Postmans Lock Plates, (see below.)

Details -

Without close review this stunning piece appears nearly new. No evidence of use, there is a small, vague, pale blemish to the rear, lower RH edge and a tiny dark dot to the rear, LH base corner curve, both present at the time of purchase.

A slight lean to the top handles from storage (handles will flop downwards if not placed upright or held) and the form of the bag is naturally slouchy (see photo when empty). If you prefer a more upright silhouette a firm Felt Liner would provide structure.

Perfect inking, (edge sealent), all stitching tight, protective plastic and pins on internal buckles and self lined in pristine, seriously luxurious, velvet textured suede with zipped section and two slip pockets.

The reason for the Condition Rating and *notation is due to a fault with the metalware on the three Postmans Lock plates. Shown in detail in the gallery above, the outer perimeters of the plate all display finish loss caused by the deterioration of the surface coating. Not immediately noticable it is visible on inspection and the replacement of the plates would be recommended to restore this stunning piece back to it's full glory.
