This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Small Amberley Chinoiserie Top Handle Satchel in Scarlet Red Shiny Croc Embossed Calfskin with Golden Brass Hardware.

A special colourway released in limited numbers to celebrate the 2019 Chinese Lunar New Year, this piece would have originally come with a detachable silk twilly scarf on the handle, painted exclusively for Mulberry by a Chinese artist. 

Crafted from a glossy, richly saturated, bold red, crocodile embossed calfskin hide with sleek lines and firm, structured silhouette, it's the perfect way to add colour to your ensemble.

Carry by the top handle or wear on the shoulder, (both are removable so you can switch it up and add in alternate straps as you desire!) its wonderfully light and easy to use.

Fully lined in luxe, oxblood suede with leather trimmed slip pocket, there's enough room for all the basics and more.

At first review this stunning piece looks as if it coulw be new. Perfectly shaped, curves immaculate and no immediately visible wear. 

One tiny, vertical surface scratch to the leather surface on the front, LH side of the bag, (below the flap) and a numer of light scratches and impressions to the finish on the underside of the top handle, (see photos above.) All completely invisible in use and very minor.

Inking, (edge sealent) in place and stitching all strong however the reason for the * notation is due the over-tension of the stitches on the underside of the long shoulder strap. Caused during construction, the sewing machine's tension has been set too high by the craftsman and the resultant force at which the needle has penetrated the hide has caused the surface to fissure, as shown. Whilst the close up makes it look quite scary, it's actually a very commonly found feature on this leather type and doesn't affect the use of the piece in any way, (ie the splits don't enlarge or increase with use).

Hardware excellent throughout, protective film remains in place on underside of Riders Lock.

Lined in entirely clean, soft, oxblood suede, there is natural flattening to the nap of the suede on the top flap's lining, where it rests on the top aperture when closed.
