 Compact but not small, the Pochette Métis is a concertina satchel style shoulder or cross body bag with sections for everything. Three compartments inside and a zipped pocket to the rear, it's deceptively spacious and an organisers delight.

Details -

Though it's rare for the Nest to sell a Well Used piece, there are some bags that are just too stunning to pass by.

A naturally supple design, the form has softened slightly with use, though still well shaped, and its entirely colour consistent throughout.

A robust, thick yet pliable calfskin with a beautiful  gentle gloss that repels rain with ease, without close inspection it looks Very Good as a minimum. However when reviewing in detail you can note light rubbing to the finish on the front, middle, (just above the lockplates leather tab), a few barely there fingernail scuffs to the upper curve of the flap, (beneath the top handle) and scuffing to the piping trim and corner curves. All shown in close up detail in the Gallery above, they are much less noticable in use.

Small, circular rubs to the leather on each side panel of the bag, at the top near the seam where the snap hooks of the shoulder strap contact in use. There is also a little darkening to the two leather loops that house the D rings.

All stitching is tight and inking, (edge sealent) in place with the exception of the sides of the top handle where its rubbed against the holding loops. Shown in close up detail above, this is concealed in use unless pulled out to view. There are the commonly seen flex 'cracks' to the inking (edge sealent) at the flap's bases sides. This does not affect the use of the piece in any way.

 Surface scratches to the lockplates with silvery paling to the two turn knobs of the base plate, (that you squeeze to open the lock), all much less visible in use.

The shoulder strap's leather is excellent with only a linear impression across the last hole, where the buckle has been set. However there has been finish loss to the golden brass coating of one snap hook as shown. 

The interior is fully lined in clean, bright red, stripey textile.
