Condition - Well Used*

 

Details -

Carried very lightly, at first review this beautiful DR looks to be in an Excellent condition.

A naturally supple design, it's gently softened, (see photo when empty,) but without any immediately visible signs of wear.

A barely there, vertical fingernal scratch to the lower, middle rear of the bag and a  light colouration rub to the front, RH sides corner curve, (not wear to the leather). All stitching is strong and inking (edge sealent) in place throughout.

A very vague, slightly darkish, small smudge mark to the front, upper RH side of the front top handle, (barely visible to the naked eye), the shoulder strap looks like it's never been used.

The reason for the Condition Rating and *notation is due to the manufacturing fault to the hardware present on many pieces constructed during this era. Crazing* to the finish can be noted to the hardware throughout, which appears like a shattered mirror. There is finish loss to the surface of the metal on the D rings at the handle bases, shown with the zoom in the Gallery above. Whilst this does not affect the use of the piece in any way, it has been reflected in the price.

The interior is lined in entirely clean Mulberry Tree jacquard chocolate cotton with a leather trimmed slip pocket and zipped pocket.
