Details -

Firm, well shaped, the canvas is clean, thick, grainy and entirely wihout wear. All stitching is tight, the interior beautifully clean and the D ring excellent. 

Scratches to the debossed zip pull and header can be noted on close inspection, however these are much less visible to the naked eye.

The reason for the Condition Rating and *notation is due to an LV manufacturing fault that affected a number of pieces during the period 2013 to 2015. The glazing, (or inking / bonding) that is applied to the edges of the canvas was found to become defective and over time softened, became sticky and eventually melted. LV issued a worldwide recall to clients identified with items potentially affected, however there are still many pieces in circulation that exhibit the problem.

The glazing to this piece is located on the sides and base and whilst visually there is little to note, its current consistency is slighty softened with a mildly tacky feel. It will be prone to surface impressions and indentations and whilst it doesn't affect the piece structurally, the glazing should be remedied before use as will deteriorate over time.
