This is a 100% authentic Hermès Bearn Soufflet Bifold Long Wallet in Epsom Etoupe with Palladium Silver Hardware.

Elegant and classic, this simple, slim fold over purse closes with a tuck through leather flap and "H" fastening.

Inside there are five credit card slots, four flat pockets and a roomy, zipped change purse.

Condition -  Well Used

 Details -

A testiment to how hardy these pieces are, this larger sized Hermès Bearn wallet has been carried extensively but is still in a beautiful condition.

Colour consistent, its well shaped with the usual gentle creasing to the spine area and downward curls to the corners, as is inevitable with use.

A few of the most miniscule scratches to the leather. A tiny cluster together, located on the LH side of the spine and a single dot on the front, lower LH side. Shown with the zoom, these are invisible without magnification.

Slight drying and minor wear to the inking (edge sealent) at the top side curves and wear to the corner / apex points, all shown in the close up photos above. To the naked eye this is much less noticable.

A very small, extremely vague, surface rub to the grain of the epsom on the interior coin pocket, just below the zip pull, location highlighted, the remainder of the interior is Excellent, without wear.

Dulling to the Hermès embossed zip pull and H end-stop, the front H plaque displays numerous surface scratches, though nowhere near as severe as the photos makes this appear.

The main reason for the Condition Rating is due to the missing side stitch on the inner LH side of the slip pocket. Shown in the Gallery above, from the outside, (location highlighted and shown with the zoom,) and from the inside, (opened up to view and appearance straight on.) The lost stitch is an additional stitch made by the craftsman in construction to reinforce the pocket opening and its absence does not affect the structural integrity of the piece. The remainder stitching is all holding firmly however this has been reflected in the price as the Buyer may wish to have this re-instated to preserve longeivity.
