  • Crafted from a super soft & squidgy 'spongy' hide, the Effie Satchel is a relaxed take on a classic saddle flap design. A delight to use, the slouching shape moulds to your side however you carry....and the clay white shade goes with everything.

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Effie Satchel in Snowball White Spongy Pebbled Leather with Shiny Silver Tone Hardware.

Crafted from a super soft & squidgy hide, the Effie Satchel is a relaxed take on the classic saddle flap design.

Two straps, the shorter a plait feature design and the longer, a fixed length shoulder or cross body strap, (though generally sits on or above hip level if worn as a messenger,) the top flap sits neatly over a single, self locating fastener.

A delight to wear, the slouching shape moulds to your side in use and the clay white shade (often confused with Pear Sorbet, with its very slight greenish tinge,) goes with everything.

Details- 

The leather is entirely colour cosnsistent, evenly but deeply grained with that lovely padded texture you get with a nice Spongy finish.

No wear whatsoever, its been cared for exceptionally well.

Structureless when empty, you'll need to add in a Felt Liner if you prefer a more rigid look.....it just melts into a delicious creasy, puddle if there's nothing inside.

The plait feature top handle is perfect and the long strap just very gently softened, (not creasy or stretched) with a wave from storage which will quickly even with use.

All stitching strong and inking, (edge sealent) in place, the hardware is bright and shiny with light scratches to the D rings at each side of the bag (not visible to the naked eye.)

A small, darkish, dot smudge to the suede lining on the interior flap's LH side, see close up photo, the remainder of the interior is pristine. Lined in hardy, cotton with leather trimmed slip pocket and zipped section.
