Mulberry Classic Regular Alexa Satchel in Black Polished Buffalo with with Silver Hardware - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Regular Alexa Satchel in Black Polished Buffalo with with Shiny Silver Nickel Hardware.

The originally styled Lexy crafted from a glossy and grainy, thick polished Buffalo hide, a finish that glows with an almost metallic sheen.

Supple yet strong, the Seller has also include a Samorga multi pocket, duo, felt liner in the sale.

Details - 

Well shaped, the form of these pieces softens gently with use and the silhouette relaxes becoming curvier and slouchier so the addition of the Liner provides more structure and organisation.

A deep, consistent black with a subtle reflective finish that looks gunmetal in some lights, (the reddish tone in the photos is a reflection of my T shirt!) the leather is stunning. Lots of natural striations, veins and creases.....its a characterful hide and wonderfully robust.

No wear to corners or curves, just a small, light, vertical fingernail scuff above the Postman's Lock Plate and one below the base plate, as shown. A few, shallow surface impressions just above the RH side's base popper, (both the underside plates have retained their original protective film.)

The Postmans Lock Plate is excellent. Bright and shiny, without any scratches visible to the naked eye. Similarly the two, metal clad, satchel strap tip ends are As New, however they have rested under the bag in storage and caused shallow surface impressions to the base.

Plait top handle and shoulder strap are excellent, all stitching strong and inking, (edge sealent) entirely in place, without wear.

The reason for the *notation is due to a 2mm dot scratch to the lower RH side panel of the bag. Location circled and shown with the zoom, it has broken the surface however it's unnoticable in use as the grain of the hide camouflages it incredibly well.

Lined in clean, black Mulberry Tree jacquard with a side zipped security pocket and leather trimmed slip pocket.  The underside of the top flap is lined in black suede.
