Details -

Without close review you'd be forgiven for thinking this fabulous piece was new. Perfectly shaped, no wear to the canvas, corners and curves immaculate and the smooth, black calfskin is pristine throughout. Top handles and tri-part shoulder strap As-New. Edging, (bonding) in place, stitching all tight, bright red, textile interior entirely crisp and clean and the printed Vivienne motif precise.

The reason for the *notation is due to the ageing to the hardware on the four, handle base rings, embossed rivets and D rings to each side of the bag. Only visible on very close inspection they appear as tiny dark scratches. The zipper pulls and end snap hooks of the shoulder strap are excellent.  The padlock is shiny but has acquired surface scratches, a couple of small spots of tarnish and a smatter of little contact dinks to the top, flat area.
