This is a Brand New* 100% authentic Christian Dior Limited Edition USA American Flag Large Book Tote.

The iconic Dior Book Tote, designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, (Creative Director Of Christian Dior) was originally inspired by a House’s archive drawing produced by Marc Bohan in 1967.

The aesthetics and silhouette of the tote may be simple but this Limited Edition reinterpretation of the house’s iconic Book Tote is an ode to Christian Dior’s inaugral journey to the United States in 1947, (where he travelled to accept the Neiman Marcus Award in Dallas for his first collection).

Originally exclusive to the States it features over a million red, white and blue embroidery stitches alongside Christian Dior’s lucky stars and is entirely crafted by hand.

Details -

Just stored since purchase, the reason for the *notation is due to a feature very commonly found on this design. There is a waviness to the underside seam on the rear, top handle, as shown. An entirely normal part of the make-up of these pieces and not a fault. The intricately, hand-made construction and quality of these pieces is exquisite.

Natural tufts to the surface can be found throughout, as is inherent in this finish.
