This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Dorothy Satchel in Black Natural Vegetable Tanned Leather with Glossy Brass Hardware. 

Made in England from Mulberry's finest, original NVT, it's so thick, sturdy and strong, it's just like Darwin leather of yesteryear. 

A rich leather aroma and oodles of charm, this hide acquires a beautiful gloss with time and care and is completely unsurpassable in terms of character.

 A fabulous design that so sadly came and went from Mulberrys seasonal collection in the blink of an eye.

Carry by hand or as a messenger, it's best suited to cross body wear (as the strap attaches to the back two D rings and makes her 'tip' forwards when worn on the shoulder).

Plenty of room inside for everyday, she's an absolute workhorse and a bag you'll never need to baby.

Details -

Absolutely beautiful, there's no real wear...... the leather is sublime. Colour consistent, corner curves are perfect, (any white 'marks' visible in the photos are purely light reflections) and there are only a few, extremely light fingernail scuffs to the hide, (which form an entirely natural feature of this finish and will increase and blend with use).

One, 3cm vertical, hairline scratch to the front, lower LH side, well camouflaged to the naked eye.

A strong but not structured silhouette, she's softened with use and has developed a horizontal crease along the lower rear, so slouches beautifully when empty. If you prefer the more upright look you'll need to add in a firm Felt Liner.

Gorgeous old style glossy hardware, the Postmans Lock Plate and base plate are excellent, however the underside plate displays contact scratches and rubbing. The turnlock sides display a little friction scratching at the bottom of the staff and the end displays silvery paling.

All stitching is all strong, inking (edge sealent) in place and top handle firm and well shaped.

The long detachable shoulder strap is similarly excellent with a surface impression on the middle hole where the buckle  has been previously set.

Lined in clean, thick, black, linen twill displaying general use and a vague reddish mark by the zipped pocket.

The interior of the top flap is lined in suede which displays flattening and minor aging.
