This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Bayswater Backpack (Larger Sized) in Oxblood Small Classic Grain Leather with Golden Brass Hardware.

Crafted in England from a thick and supple SCG hide, not structured but not slouchy, its comfy to carry, easy to use and an ideal bag when you need to carry load without breaking your shoulders.

A rich, dark burgundy shade and a light glossy finish (which repels rain with ease!), its fully lined too so really does hark back to the days when Mulberry made bags to last.

 Roomy, easy to wear and full of all of Mulberry's Heritage charm, wrapped up in a North South Backpack package, this lovely piece has been carried only twice but has sadly had a couple of mishaps.

Details -

A pliable hide, (see its gentle backwards lean when empty), you'll need to add in a firm Felt Liner if you like the fully upright look.

There are the usual, light triangular surface impressions to the rear of the top flap from the handle base inserts, as is part of the construction of these pieces.

Entirely colour consistent, it appears more burgundy under artificial light but is a true oxblood in natural daylight.

No immediately visible wear, however on close inspection you can note small surface scuffs on the two front corner curves and a hairline, horizontal scratch along the top curve of the front handle. Much less noticable in use than the close up photos make them appear, this has, however, been reflected in the price.*

All stitching strong and inking (edge sealent) in place. A little very minor, wear to the inking on the lower LH sides D ring loop, as shown.

Hardware is excellent throughout.

The interior is lined in clean, black, Mulberry tree jacquard fabric with a large leather slip pocket and a zipped section.

The top flap is lined in gently ruffled black suede.
