This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Alexa Satchel in Grape Soft Buffalo Leather with Brushed Gold Hardware. 

The original Lexy satchel crafted from a fabulously creasy & characterful hide in a rich, purple shade.

A soft, supple silhouette, (you'll need to add in a Felt Liner if you prefer the more upright look), its the ideal, casual Mulberry for every day.

Details -

Well shaped, though unstructured by design, it will slouch into a perfect puddle of purpleness, when empty.

Entirely colour consistent, the colour is utterly divine and the hide has a gentle glaze which repels marks and rain with ease.

Lots of natural veins, striations and creases, the top flap is nicely softened but there's no real wear....even the base corner curves are excellent, (any white marks in the photos are purely light reflections).

Inking (edge sealent) is unworn, all stitching strong and the top plait handle wonderfully firm.

The long, detachable shoulder strap excellent with surface creasing to the middle hole where the buckle has been previously set and minor contact scratches to the end clips.

D rings display corresponding light contact scratches and there is two small strips of discolouration to the leather attachment loop on the RH side (that houses the D ring).

The LH side's metal clad satchel strap tip end displays diagonal surface scratches to its RH side, the other satchel strap tip end is excellent.

Natural dulling to the two front self locating popper bases, the underside of the top lockplate displays a few contact scratches, the base plate is excellent.

The reason for the Condition Rating is due to the scratching and finish loss to the sides of the turnlock* end. Similarly, a small area around the turnlock hole on the Postmans Lock Plate, as shown.

Lined in clean, black Mulberry Tree jacquard cotton with a leather trimmed slip pocket and zipped section, The interior flap is lined in clean, soft, ruffled black suede.
