This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Regular Tassle Alexa Satchel in Black Forest Soft Matte Leather with Shiny Goldtone Hardware.

A rather special edition of the Lexy satchel, crafted from a rich bordeaux-berry toned hide.

A super slouchy Lexy, adorned with edgy conical rivets and the pretty front tassle tie.....this is how Mulberry's creative director (Emma Hill) described the collection at the time, "The Tassel collection came about after seeing gorgeous Mulberry girls at festivals, bags slung over their shoulders, not afraid of a bit of English mud. It reminded me of the image of laid-back Seventies festivals, fringing, tassels — the works!". Mulberry.com

Details -

A rich conkery oxblood shade, the leather is finely grained, buttery soft, super supple and entirely without wear.

Lots of natural creasy undulations, it's a gloriously slouchy designe so if you prefer a more upright silhouette pop the Felt Liner inside to provide structure and added organisation.

Carried only a handful of times, curves and corners are perfect, the plait feature top handle pristine as is the shoulder strap and inking is all intact throughout.

As is inevitable with this style, the leather on the middle of the flap where it sits over the pushlock displays an uneven profile.

Hardware and all studding is excellent with just surface scratches to the two metal clad, satchel strap tip ends.

The interior is fully lined in clean chocolate Mulberry tree repeat fabric and the top flap lined in a soft, luxe sueded. Inside there is side zipped security pocket and leather trimmed slip pocket.
