This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Heritage Bayswater in Oxblood Natural Coloured Vegetable Tanned Leather with Shiny Gold Hardware.

Made in England.... the Mulberry icon, this beautiful, classically styled Bayswater is crafted from a thick, robust, Black Forest toned NVT hide.

A beautiful finish, (in my view) superior to most of the more recent leathers (including Legacy), this is a hide that will just get better & better with time & use.

Details -

Original protective film in place on all lockplates and base feet, this stunning Bayswater has been cared for incredibly well.

No wear or fingernail scuffs to the hide......these will develop with use as forms a normal feature of the leather type. As they increase in number they develop and blend to form a beautifully characterful finish.

Still nicely upright, the top flap is gently softened and has developed the commonly seen, slight horizontal dip across the top, (see photo when empty).

A very slight, horizontal undulation can also be seen on the lower, rear of the bag.

Colour consistent, corners and curves are perfect, (any marks in the photos are purely light reflections), just the light surface impressions to the top flap from the rear handle bases, as is part of this design.

Shoulder straps are firm and well shaped with gently softened bases. One, miniscule, diagonal horizontal surface scratch to the rear RH handle, as shown.

All inking, (edge sealent) is in place and stitching strong throughout.

The interior is self lined in clean, ruffled suede with two leather slip pockets and zip section. A small, dark smudge of stray inking, present from construction, can be noted to the upper RH side of the interior flap, to the RH side of the lockplate, as shown.

Adhesive (leather glue) residue used by the craftsman to secure the underside of stitching to the central vertical seam in the zipped pocket, can be noted* when inspecting.
