This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Bayswater Backpack in Blush Small Classic Grain with Brushed Antiqued Silvertone Hardware.

Roomy, robust and practical. The larger sized Bays Backpack, so sadly discontinued, is easy to wear and full of all of Mulberry's Heritage charm.

The Seller has also included a hand-made, bespoke material liner which provides protection and organistion to the interior. (Depicting woodland animals frolicking in an English countryside scene, its absolutely lovely too!)

A pebbly, evenly grained and gently supple hide, not structured but not slouchy, its comfy to carry, easy to use and an ideal bag when you need to carry load without breaking your shoulders!

A taupe-toned, nude pink shade in a hardy, glossy finish which repels rain with ease, its lined in jacquard Mulberrry Tree fabric with a suede top flap, so really does hark back to the days when Mulberry made bags to last.

Details -

Well shaped and without any immediately visible wear, its entirely colour consistent and all stitching strong.

No marks to the leather, no wear or scuffing to base corner curves just one tiny hairline scratch to the top curve of the rear top handle, (the remainder of the top handles are perfect.)

 There are the usual light surface impressions to the top flap from the pressure of the rear base inserts, as shown.

Original plastic film on baseplate, hardware is excellent throughout.

Shoulder / back straps are similarly excellent without wear or issue.

As is often seen on these pieces, there is some slightly patchy inking, (edge sealent) application to the edges of the top aperture. Shown in the Gallery above, this is not a fault or wear and can only be viewed on close inspection.

Three surface impressions* to the base from where it has rested on the backpack straps in storage, Shown in the close up photos above these will gradully lift and lessen with time and use.

The interior is lined in clean burgundy Mulberry Tree fabric with a leather slip and zipped pocket. The suede lining to the top flap is gently ruffled from use.

A little adhesive residue can be noted to the RH sides flap base inner corner, where it joins the back. This is glue used by the craftsman in construction and forms a normal part of the piece.

Gusset poppers hold tightly and securely.
