Louis Vuitton Zippy Coin Purse in Multicolore Monogram Noir - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Louis Vuitton Zippy Coin Purse in Multicolore Monogram Noir with Golden Brass Hardware.

The Multicolore collection was first introduced in spring 2003 by Japanese pop artist, Takashi Murakami who decided to revamp the traditional monogram toile and give it a splash of colour.

In collaboration with Marc Jacobs, the Multicolore line became a huge success and, just as popular today as its ever been, its more than stood the test of time.

Details -

A wonderfully firm & grainy canvas, the 'hand-feel' is excellent without softening or issue.

Deepest black with all the colours of the toile multicolore still beautifully bright, however the reason for the *notation is due to the rubbing to a number of the motifs print, as shown in the last photo collation above. All rubs present are shown with the zoom and this has been reflected in the price. All much less noticable than the close up photos make them appear.

 Very minor aging to the zip teeth, (the zip runs nice and smoothly) and slight drying to the red (edging).

The black textile is clean and unrubbed and the embossed zip pull and base header displays friction scratches and dulling.

The interior is entirely clean, lined in a vibrant, Pivoine Pink crossgrain leather.

One 1.5mm dot catch to the central slips top rear aperture seem, location highlighted and shown with the zoom, (this is almost invisible to the naked eye and doesn't affect the use of the piece in any way).

Stitching all firm with minor ruffling to the surface textile of the twine as happens with use.
