Stored carefully since purchase, its just as received from AH.com. A small, vague, diagonal linear vein on the fromt RH side of the envelope flap point, this is an entirely natural feature of the hide.

Lined in prsitine bright red, smooth calfskin and AH signature, jacquard textile, there are two main compartments, both with two leather card slots, a dinky slip pocket to the front and a full width and depth zip pocket to the rear of the piece (with a lucky penny!!!!)
