This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Cara Delevingne Backpack in Oxblood Silky Classic Calf Leather with Lion Head & Heart Rivets in Shiny Gold Tone Hardware.

A  rare to find, limited release, Medium Sized Cara....(at a sensible price point!)..... these pieces are highly sought after.

This is how Mulberry describe the Cara - "The Cara Delevingne Bag is a three-in-one style, uniting Mulberry’s English attitude to beautiful practicality and the inimitable personality of British model Cara Delevingne. Designed to take you anywhere, it can be worn on the back, shoulder or carried hand-held. The bags are made in England at Mulberry’s factories in Somerset and this is proudly stamped on the bottom of each bag, inspired by Cara’s own made in England tattoo on the sole of the foot.

Cara wanted each bag to be like opening a letter with a lovely surprising touch. Inside you can find a small lion rivet and a heart shaped patch based on Cara’s own heart tattoo. Cara said: “I want there to be hidden gems inside, based on things that are personal to me, which my tattoos definitely are.”

Details -

A thick, supple and finely grained hide, its colour consistent, soft to the touch and with the perfect amount of slouchiness developing around the lower half of the bag.

Some minor surface impressions to the hide on the rear LH side of the bag and a small and very vague mark to the upper curve of the flap on the RH side. A little colouration rubbing to the top, rear RH sides back hinge of the flap and tiny flex crackles to the inking, (edge sealent) at both sides.

Tiny colouration rubs to the two bottom corners of the hanging cloche and a light, diagonal surface scratch to the RH, lower side on the base.

The two LH side base corner curves display rubbing to the inking as shown, however no wear to the leather.

All stitching is strong and in place throughout.

Light scratches to the Postmans Lockplate and a small ding to the lower curve of the turnlock hole, (no finish loss), this is almost invisible to the naked eye. Protective film in place on base plate, the underside plate displays minor surface contact scratches.

Top handles are well shaped with minor inking crackles to the V shaped bases. They will flop downwards if not hand held or secured with the collar.

The two, wide leather straps display sit impressions where the movable buckles have been set and the hardware to these buckles displays surface crazing. Extremely difficult to see with the naked eye, this doesn't affect the use of the piece in any way.

Light contact scratches to the two D rings at the base of the bag, the lion head rivits are all excellent and the flat, surfaces of the heart rivets display only very minor scratches.

The interior is lined in clean, oxblood microfibre with an area of pale marking to the base. There is a zip pocket, lined in beige textile and two leather slip pockets.
