 This is a 100% authentic Chanel Reissue 227 Maxi Flap in Marine Blue Aged Calfskin with Ruthenium Hardware.

 An incredibly beautiful piece..... one of those Chanels you can dress down with jeans in the day or glam up for the evening.

Changing colour from gentle teal to steel grey in the light, this fabulous largest size flap bag is in a superb condition throughout.

Crafted from a soft to the touch, creasy, distressed calfksin, its tactile, gently shaped and nicely supple.

A bag that lies perfectly at your side and with plenty of room inside, it's guaranteed compliments wherever you go.

Details -

No wear to the leather, all corners and curves are excellent and entirely colour consistent throughout.

Natural gentle folds to the top curve, base and sides as part of the normal construction of this style, its designed to lie flatter than classic flaps (which sometimes look boxier the bigger they get).

Very minor creasing to the lower LH side of the bag, it holds its shape when empty but is designed to be a softer and slouchier silhouette to the Classic Flap, which shows itself first, with use, around the lower areas of the bag.

A light, diagonal striation to the RH side of the inner flap's top curve (like a very light. vein-like crease) and there is the commonly seen, small surface impression to the smooth leather of the LH side, where the top zip pull rests when the flap is closed.

Stitching all tight and hardware excellent. Please note the natural friction wear to the front plate from the movement of the turnlock and general distressing, as is a part of the inherent aging of this hardware.

The jewellery chain and eyelets are similarly excellent.

The interior is entirely clean and without wear. One, light, horizontal fingernail scratch to the inside, interior flap, to the upper LH side of the male prestud. Only just about visible if you angle the bag to view.
