  The Hampstead gets its name from a famous Lido (open air swimming pool) and is inspired by the vintage bucket bags from the 1970s archives.

A contemporary twist on a much-loved heritage classic, its crafted from a firm but still pliable hide that will gradually soften and mould to your side in use, but not become slouchy.

The rigid base ensures the bag holds its shape without sagging and though its compact in size, its just the ideal capacity for all the everyday basics.

Easy to use, light to carry and a perfect balance of retro-cool and modern design, its a 'go-to' day bag full of practicality and charm!

 Details -

A rich, dark oak tone that Mulberry have named 'Tan' this piece has been carried very lightly. Colour consistent, well shaped with just one very small and light scuff to the front, RH side of the bag, (see close up photo above).

Gentle signs of use to the base's corner trim curves, (easily remedied by a single application of the correct colour Colonill Cream).

A pin head sized dot of stray inking, (edge sealent) to the middle rear of the bag and one to the RH side of this. Present from the time of purchase and shown in the Gallery above, these are almost invisible to the naked eye.

A light impression across the last hole of the detachable shoulder strap, where the buckle has been previously set. The firm, moulded top handle is excellent.

All stitching and inking strong.

The golden brass hardware is excellent with a naturally antiqued finish which is fabulous for blending any use or wear.

Lined in entirely clean, navy blue, herringbone weave cotton with zipped pocket.
