Hermés Bolide 35 in Bleu Abysse Clemence with Palladium Hardware - SOLD

This is a 100% Authentic Hermés Bolide 35 Mou in Bleu Abysse Clemence Leather with Shiny Palladium Silver Hardware.

Emile-Maurice Hermès first designed the Hermès Bolide bag in 1923 for his wife. An Hermès lover’s must-have, it was the first bag to use a zipper closure and is still one of the most recognised and idolised designs. 

So classic, this roomy, dark marine blue toned delight has been used and loved but is just so incredibly beautiful.

Mou (meaning soft), its super smooshily supple & puddlesome when empty but the Seller has also included a multi pocket Felt Liner in the sale.

Lots of capacity for everyday, its entirely colour consistent with a soft, rounded silhouette, (even when you us the Felt Liner), so has a beautifully rounded and feminine feel.

Hardware is bright, without oxidisation or tarnish, just the light surface scratches to the side's base plate, (where the Padlock attaches), the D rings where the shoulder strap attaches and some minor dulling to the underside 'Riri' zip header and 'H' at the end of the zip teeth.

There are scratches to the domed base feet with a goldy tone at their apex where the palladium plating has worn.

Inking, (edge sealent) wear to the zip pulls side loop, as shown.

Corners and curves are very good with a few light scuffs, (easily camoflagued by the application of the correct colour Colonnil Cream) and there is some minor flattening to the grain of the hide on the RH side of the base.

Shoulder strap is softened but without issue, the reason for the * rating is due to the scratches to the upper curve of the front top handle. These have been caused by carrying wearing a claw set ring and though do look severe in the Photo above, to the naked eye they are much less visible.

The interior is fully lined in a finely grained calfskin with a large, side slip pocket. Incredibly tactile and soft, there are numerous fingernail scratches througout, but no marks, detriment or issue.

A light, pleasant perfumed aroma from the previous owner can be noted.
