This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Amberley Medium Sized Satchel in Oxblood Grain Vegetable Tanned Leather with golden brass hardware.

Born from a modern reinvention of Mulberry's heritage-inspired style, the Amberley Satchel is a semi structured saddle bag crafted from a beautifully firm hide. 

This is how Mulberry describe the style. "Inspired by British countryside pursuits, the Amberley gets its ring hardware and satchel shape from traditional equestrian styling. This smaller satchel features a geometrical Rider's Lock closure in brass hardware, inspired by and reinterpreting the centre of the iconic Postman's Lock. Inside it is luxuriously finished with a suede lining. Multi-functional, it can be worn over the shoulder or across body.."

Details -

A very structured silhouette in a rich, dark, morello cherry toned burgundy grainy hide, its all entirely colour consistent and without any immediately visible signs of use....at first review you'd be forgiven for thinking it was new.

Two light sit impressions to the shoulder strap end where the buckle has been previously set, all stitching is firm, inking, (edge sealent) unworn and hardware perfect throughout.

Only on the closest of inspections can you note a light, diagonal hairline surface scratch* to the lower side of the RH side panel, on the curve, an even slighter vertical one to the rear LH side of the bag and an imperceptible one to the LH side of the front flap. All shown in the Gallery above, they are much less visible to the naked eye.

A small splatter of stray inking to the rear, middle RH side of the bag, (see location highlighted and zoomed photo), again almost imperceptible and would have been present from the time of construction.

The interior is lined in clean, lightly ruffled burgundy suede with a slip pocket. A small circular, dark, mark can be seen to the base lining's RH side.

Please note an extremely slight, very pleasant perfumed aroma (I liked it so much I asked the Seller what it was! ...and this is what she told me!)
