This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Small Zipped Bayswater in Oxblood Grained Vegetable Tanned Leather with Golden Brass hardware.

This is how Mulberry describe their revamped masterpiece. "The Bayswater is our most iconic bag, and its eponymous collection includes new styles inspired by the original. The Small Zipped Bayswater is the perfect option for those who like a zipped closure. Using the same construction as a Bayswater, this new style plays with the detail - deconstructing the front by removing the flap and using the iconic postman's lock to secure two belted straps."

 Crafted from a rich burgundy toned hide, its an exceptionally lovely shade.

Details -

A firm and structured silhouette, colour consistent, without any immediately visible wear, the top handles are firm and well shaped with slightly softened bases so have a tendency to flop downwards if being carried on the shoulder, (see Gallery above).

Hardware is very good, without dulling or issue, just some light hairline surface scratches to the Postmans Lock Plate.

A small, diagonal scratch to the front, top handle on the lower RH side, a 3mm chink to the inking on the top front aperture, just above the 'u' in 'Mulberry and a very small rub to the inking on the lower front RH. 

A smattering of tiny, whitish dots to the horizontal belt at each side of the bag and a tiny nick to the rear of the bag, near the base seam. Again shown in close up detail in the Gallery above, these are all barely visible to the naked eye.

As is commonly seen on this design there are triangular surface impressions from the rear handle bases and the main reason for the Condition rating is the flex crackling to the inking, (edge sealent) at each side of each handle base. Shown with the zoom, to the naked eye these are not noticable without close inspection and don't affect the use of the piece in any way.

The interior is lined in a lightly ruffled clean suede with a dual, dark mark to the interior base's LH side and a small smudge of inking, (edge sealent) on the inner pockets trim, just under the 'u' in Mulberry, as present from construction.
