This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Vintage Rosemary in Black Darwin leather with antiqued brass hardware.

The smaller size Roxanne is an ideal size for everyday and perfect for carrying on the shoulder.

The precursor to the more recent Roxette, with the top flap over closure, this original Darwin leather delight is a vintage treat!!

Details -

Crafted from thick, glossy, creasy and deeply grained hide, its a leather thats just got better and better with age and use.

Wonderfully robust and smells literally like heaven, there is very little wear to the leather, just the usual light surface scuffs and though the silhouette is supple and softened its entirely colour consistent, stitching all strong and entirely without issue.

The inking, (edge sealent) is in place though dry, with minor rubbing to the base corners, upper flex points of the flap and the shoulder strap sides that loop around the hardware rings.

The hardware is very good throughout with minor scatches to buckle barrels but all rivets are in place and without tarnish or oxidisation. A is common on these vintage pieces there are a few rivets with very minor 'green' around the edges from storage...(easily removed with a toothpick).

The top handles are well shaped and the shoulder strap is softened, though not stretched or creased.

The interior is clean, self lined suede displaying the usual light ruffling and age related discolouration.
