This is a 100% authentic Saint Laurent YSL Classic Monogram Continental Zip Around Wallet in Black Grain De Poudre Textured Matelasse with Antiqued Gold Tone Hardware.

 The classic YSL Zip Around long purse in chevron quilted, textured calfskin, its nicely substantial in the hand with spaces for everything.

Such a hardy finish, its been used extensively but proves the longevity and robustness of these pieces.  

Condition - Well Used

Details -

Without inspection with a magnifier or zoom, its very hard to see why this lovely piece only achieves a Well Used condition rating.

Well shaped, colour consistent and unsoftened, the zip runs smoothly to all sides and the leather looks to be in a super conditition throughout.

The slightest surface rubbing / bobbling to the fabric that runs around the three sides of the purse containing the zip, there are no catches or thinning and the exterior, embossed zip pull displays only slight paling to the header from friction contact,

The interior is similarly very good, with only very minor, general signs of use.

All stitching strong and the smooth leather gusseted panels fold cleanly and without issue.

Light but numerous surface scratches to the surface of the interlocking YSL front plaque and paling to small areas as shown, (the silvery tone visible in the close-up photos). Much less visible to the naked eye than the close up photos make these appear and well camoflagued by the nature of this 'antiqued' brushed hardware.

The reason for the condition rating is due to the wear to the the corner curves of the piece. Entirely invisible in use and without zoom, completely imperceptible. Shown in the gallery above and reflected in the price.
