This is a 100% authentic Hermès Cape Cod Double Tour Watch Strap PM in Black Calfskin with Black Stitching, Edging and Natural Reverse.

A double wrap strap in the smaller sized wrist circumference, this interchangeable strap is for the Cape Cod Hermès watch.

Inspired by the rich history of the American East Coast, the square-within-a-rectangle Cape Cod watch case took its unique shape from the Hermes "Chaîne d'Ancre," a link designed to resemble a nautical anchor chain. The casual elegance of the elongated lugs evokes the New England spirit of the Massachusetts coastline that gives the watch its name. The watch and buckle are not included in the sale.

In 1998, elusive, avant-garde ready-to-wear designer Martin Margiela, who worked with Hermès from 1997 to 2003, created the "Double Tour" leather strap concept which wraps around the wrist twice creating a jewellery like bracelet accessory.

Light creasing to the form and natural gentle curvature, there is slight rubbing to the edging at the 'belt' loops sides, as shown.

A sit impression over the middle hole, where the buckle has been previously set.

Slight darkening and evidence of the buckle prong sitting through the hole to the natural leather reverse of the strap, as shown.
