Mulberry Regular Alexa Satchel in Oak Soft Buffalo Leather - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Regular Alexa in Oak Soft buffalo leather with brushed gold hardware 

The iconic Alexa, no so sadly discontinued, is an easy to carry satchel style bag than can be carried by hand, worn on the shoulder or across the body.

A rich tan hide crafted from beautifully textured, super supple, light  buffalo leather. Puddlesomely unstructured with a fabulously creasy bottom, this luscious Lexy looks in an amazing condition at first sight.

Details -

A deep, tan toned oak, its colour consistent, nicely glossy and with a characterful mixed grain of hides. The crinkliest bottom you could ever wish for, there's a small 1cm round area thats a very slightly lighter shade, (though camoflauged almost completely by the finish).

One, very small, light surface scuff to the hide on the front, lower middle, three of the base corners are excellent with only the very lightest signs of use. The rear, RH corner displays marks to the trim and there is a 2mm abraison to the LH side of the rear curve.

A slouchy silhouette, the feature plait handle is wonderfully firm with one, small stray splat of inking, (edge sealent) to the RH side.

A little uneven application of inking to the two horizontal straps (that secure with ball and staff) and theinner end of the shoulder strap. The remainder of the strap is very good with only light scratches to the dog clip ends.

A stray inking dot to the lower, front RH side and a splot to the lower LH side, these would all have been present from construction.

Natural dulling to the two front self locating poppers, the main reason for the condition rating is to due to the wear to the hardware. The two metal clad front satchel strap tips both display scratching, the RH side D ring, the two front, tree embossed rivets and there is both friction related finish loss to the turnlocks sides and around the Postmans Lock Plate's hole.

A small wiggly scratch to the lower curve of the Postmans Lock Plate, the underside plates display only light surface contact marks.

This wear is all much less visible to the naked eye than the close up photos make it appear as the overall appearance of the bag is very good, however this issue has been reflected in its condition categorisation and price.

Lined in clean, chocolate Tree repeat cotton with the leather trimmed slip pocket and zipped section, the interior flap is lined in dark chocolate suede displaying some pile flattening to the upper RH side.
