Very little actual wear, the leather has richened to a beautiful caramel tone and gained a lovely, even seasoning and character throughout.
A nicely spaced print, its a well shaped bag, still stiff and quite structured with a wonderful, heady leather aroma.
A smattering of small, dot sized, water spots to the front lower panel, the usual light fingernail scratches throughout and rubbing and drying to the corner trim, with a little darkening just beginning.
All stitching is excellent and the inking (edge sealent) around the top aperture all in place.
A small, round surface scuff to the RH side of the base, (see close up photo above).
Hardware is very good, with some scratching to the underside plate, a little scrape to the upper LH outer edge ot the Postmans Lock Plate and the usual scratches to the turnlock end.
The shoulder straps are well shaped and not softened with uniform patina and just the slightest darkening towards the top, where they have been hand held. Inking is crackled to the inner handle bases and display two areas of loss, as shown.
The interior is self lined in clean suede, with some darkening and flattening to the pile, horizontally across the lower area of the flap where it sits against the top aperture when closed.
A much lovelier Mulberry in the flesh than a listing of its faults make it sound.
