This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Bayswater in Blonde Python Snakeskin with antique brass hardware. 

 Warm sepia toned, ultra supple, slouchy and, of course.....super snakey, this exotic delight is an incredible piece. Far less delicate than you'd imagine, its an edgy mix of multi tonal texture and traditional style. 

A red felt handbag liner is also included in the sale.

Details -

Surprisingly resilient and easy to maintain though there is natural, gentle movement in the skin, there's no detriment. The main reason for the condition rating is due to the nature of this finish, vs use or wear.

Corners are excellent and the textural depth of this finish is fabulous. No missing or lifted away scales, its an inherent feature of this leather that the edges are raised and have all different profiles, creating the depth of tone which gives this magnificent bag its beauty.

Shoulder straps aren't softened but have been stored downwards, creating softening and creasing at the bases and a 'lean' to one side. Inking (edge sealent) has worn to handle bases, the front two in particular, (see photos above) and whilst this doesn't affect the use of the bag in any way, it has been reflected in the price.

The Postmans Lock Plate displays light friction rubbing around the turnlock hole, a small area of scratching to the upper RH side and the turnlock sides displays light loss of finish. There are light rubs to the underside plate from contact with the base plate.

Inside is self lined in clean, fine nap suede and the top flap lined in a lovely, creasy and soft, chocolate calfskin.
