This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Bayswater in Poppy Red Natural Leather with shiny gold tone hardware.

This beautiful, classic styled Bayswater is crafted from a thick, robust NVT hide. A muted, mellow red shade but a richly saturated tone, its subdued and eye catching all at the same time!

 

  Condition - Very Good

 

Details -

A curvy silhouette, she'll stand up when empty but will relax and soften with use to eventually become a fabulously supple and slouchy bag. Her top flap is nicely softened and creasy and the hide has developed that wonderful glossiness that only comes with time, use and care.

As is commonly seen on these pieces with softening the top flap has a gentle dip undulation at each side and the handle bases have gradually formed light surface impressions.

Colour consistent with very little wear, there's a small, light, diagonal surface scratch to the rear, lower LH side, (see circled photo for location), light colour rub to the top, rear shoulder strap and a couple of scratches just below this from a claw set ring.

The curves at the base (not the trim) display the very lightest colour rubs (not scuffing). All inking (edge sealent) and stitching is excellent.

Shoulder straps are firm and well shaped, without any darkening and three of the base feet still retain their orginal protective plastic.

The Postmans Lock Plate is excellent with only one visible, vertical hairline scratch to the RH side. Both underside plates retain their original plastic film.

The interior is clean, self lined, ruffled suede with two leather slip pockets and zip section.
