 This is a 100% authentic Chanel 226 Reissue Mademoiselle Flap in black distressed calfskin with gold tone bijoux jewellery chain.

 A nicely structured flap with that glorious aged, creasy feel to the leather. Fabulously robust, its complimented by a beautiful, champagne gold embellished chain.

Dress it up or wear it casual. A stunning Chanel.... as at home in the day as in the evening.

 

Condition - Very Good 

 

Details -

A softly structured silhouette, each side, base and top displaying the common, folded formation and the triangular creases. The base in particular displaying these natural creases that form part of this style.

The leather is sublime...so soft, naturally distressed and deeply textured with an almost padded feel. The quilt on these pieces isn't as puffy as with the classics, as from new, but there's no deflation or compressions creases.

An incredible colour with that amazing ability to change shade in the light. Undertones of grey gunmetal with midnight hues, the texure seems to bring a depth to its beauty that flatter finishes just don't possess.

No wear whatsoever, corners and flap edges are perfect, just the gentle creases that are part of the natural construction of these pieces and a small 3mm surface impression* to reverse, upper RH side of the bag, see photo above.

Stitching all entirely in place with just the very slightest more 'play' in the LH side holding stich than the RH side. Not loose or with any sort of issue, just part of the natural aging of this piece.

The mademoiselle lock is very good with some friction paling to the gold tone, at the end corners of the rectangular turnlock which appears as a more silvery colour.

The embossed chain displays that beautiful 'champagne' paling to the gold colouration giving lovely, almost two-tone, silver hints, which compliments the distressed finish fabulously.

A few extremely light fingernail scuffs to the smooth burgundy calfskin lining, barely visible even to the naked eye.
