This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Larger Sized Trout Satchel in Black Soft Large Grain leather with shiny gold tone hardware.

The Trout Bag is a nostalgic look back at the original Mulberry satchel design from the 1970s.

Sturdily constructed, it features a classic school satchel-style buckled front flap with two front pockets, a plait feature top handle, detachable cross-body strap and useful, exterior rear slip pocket.

A fabulously practial and incredibly beautiful, retro piece with an uber-cool vibe.

Details -

Crafted from Mulberrys deeply grained and fabulously textured large grain leather its thick, squidgy, supple and yet solid all at the same time, (see photo of it standing up empty)

Super in the rain, its demi-gloss finish shrugs off water with ease and there is plent of room inside for everyday.

The leather is superb. Entirely without wear, (any white marks at the corners are purely light reflections) and all stitching and inking is in place.

Slight softening to the shoulder strap and drying to the side inking, (edge sealent) the main reason for the condition rating is the scratches to the front plaque* and wear to the interior of the side D rings, (where the shoulder strap attaches).

A visible, diagonal surface scratch to the LH side of the engraved front plaque, the base plates of the pushlocks also display friction scratches. No tarnish, oxidisation or loss of finish.

Lined in clean, black Mulberry tree fabric with a zipped pocket, leather trimmed slip pocket and the top flap is lined in soft, fine-nap suede.
