This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Oversized Fox Lock Alexa

in maxi grain nubuck leather with pebbled patent leather trims and shiny gold tone hardware.

 

Crafted from a beautifully thick, matte and deeply textured nubuck suede in a rich, russet tone finished with liquid gloss, mahogany naplak patent trims ..... the pretty little fox head rivets give it that quintessentially quirky Mulberry feel.

Supple and unstructured its a bag that will grow more slouchy with use and with acres of capacity, its both a beautiful and roomy, everyday style with just that little something extra!

Details -

A fabulous finish, there are natural tonal changes in the hide dependent on how the shallow, textured nap is brushed and how the light falls.

A little smoothing to the corners and very slight darkening, there is a very vague darker mark to the upper rear of the bag, below the plait shoulder strap in the middle and one to the RH side panel, near the base. Both blend almost imperceptibly with the finish.

A diagonal, linear, dotted dark mark on the front LH side of the flap, just above the Fox Head Lock Plate, again extremely hard to see without very close inspection.

All inking and stitching in place, the hardware is very good with some hairline scratches to the lower LH side of the outer Fox Lock Ring and general scratches to the embossed, metal clad, front strap ends.

The Plait top handle and long, detachable shoulder strap is As New and patent trims are excellent with the exception of two very small scratches* to the LH side panels rear, rolled piping trim. On to the lower middle and the other near the base curve, they both break the surface of the finish to show the lighter colour beneath. This does not affect the use of the bag in any way, will not worsen and can be easily concealed with Colonill Colour cream.

Soft suede lined inner flap and fully lined in clean chocolate Mulberry tree repeat fabric with a side zipped security pocket and leather trimmed slip pocket.
