This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Alexa regular sized satchel

in Petrol Silky Snake printed leather with feature snake textured, gold tone Postmans Lock.

 Mulberrys, so sadly now discontinued, smart city satchel in a beautiful, snakeskin printed, Teal Blue hide. Finished with a stunning, feature lockplate, its a bag that will stand out from the crowd.

A nicely supple and slouchy Alexa its a bag that moulds to your side in use,. (If you prefer a more structured look, you can pop a Felt Liner inside)

An intricately printed, small scale finish, it immediately shows dimension with use and due to its inherent nature, the scales begin to curl very slightly at the edges with the natural movement of the bag. This is a characteristic of the hide and not a fault.

There are numerous lifting scales over the surface of the bag, which shows as lighter tones beneath the surface of the scale edges, and some small, light scuffs (all shown in the Photo Collage last photo above). Not particularly noticable and will form a uniform characteristic of the bag as it relaxes with use.

The reason for the * rating is due to a deeper cut scale on the rolled piping on the rear LH side of the bag which has 'opened' with movement of use. Again much less visible to the naked eye than the close up photo makes it appear and does not affect the use of the bag in any way.

The base corners display some minor rubbing, loss of colour, not wear, which appears as a slightly lighter tone.

The plait top handle is firm, inking (edge sealant) is all in place and stitching intact. There are some surface scuffs to the plait top RH side, as shown.

The long, detachable strap is excellent with one very small surface scratch to the end (as shown)

The Feature postmans lock plate is excellent, there's light friction rubbing to the underside of the plates and minor scratching to the metal clad strap tip ends. No finish loss, oxidisation or tarnish.

The interior is lined in clean, black Mulberry Tree repeat fabric with a leather trimmed slip section, zipped pocket and suede lined top flap.
