Mulberry Medium Mabel in Sand Lightweight Antiqued Leather - SOLD

This is an unused, 100% authentic, Mulberry Medium Mabel

in in Sand Lightweight Antiqued Leather with shiny goldtone hardware.

One of Mulberry's classic (and now vintage) designs the medium sized Mabel is a wonderfully roomy, everyday bag.

Comprised of three sections....the outer two are lined in a sumptious suede and the inner zipped compartment lined in Mulberry tree fabric.

Supple and unstructured (photographed when full) so perfect if you like a slouchy silhouette and her creamy Vanilla tones are just so pretty!

 Crafted from a very smooth, treated hide named 'Light Weight Antiqued' it's a very distinctive Italian finish that has had a light wax applied to give each product a unique look. It ages naturally, becoming more characterful with use and though the leather does scratch easily these blend with time to give a beautiful, slightly distressed finish.

Details -

Just as the day she was purchased, there is natural, vertical striation on the front RH side and a curved, diagonal fingernal scratch to the base, (as is inherent in the nature of this hide).

Corners and curves all perfect, there are two tiny flecks of stray inking, from the time of construction, to the upper RH side and rear of the LH side panel, (see photos above).

Two, small and very light round spots on the top LH of the bag, by the zip and a vague smudge to the LH side panel, (again, most likely to have been inking residue wiped away by the craftsman).

Light scratches to the edge rims of the embossed zip headers, the rivets and other hardware are all As New.

Lined in pristine, Mulberry tree fabric with zipped pocket to the central section and soft, fine nap suede to the two outer sections.
