Mulberry Regular Alexa in Deer Brown Quilted Nappa with Feature Postmans Lock - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry regular sized Alexa

in Deer Brown Quilted  Nappa with a shiny, gold tone faceted postmans lock.

Absolutely beautiful, super soft, matte lambs leather in a gentle caramel toned brown, the quilt finishing to both the hide and the postmans lock is just fabulous.

Details -

Without very close inspection this fabulous Lexy looks nearly new.

Immaculate lockplate, protective film in place on underside plates, perfect corners and pristine, plait feature top handle.

The metal clad, front satchel strap ends display the usual surface scratches and there are a few stray inking smudges to the underside of the detachable shoulder strap, present from the time of construction, but all inking, (edge sealent) and stitching is in place and there's no wear to the bag whatsoever.

Only when you examine very thoroughly can you note a few small issues, very hard to see in normal use.

A smudge of stray inking to the interior aperture top trim on the LH side, just behind the D ring and a natural, vertical variation on the RH side of the base which appears as a slightly raised ridge. Both present at the time of purchase, the bag was not denoted as substandard, (though should have been!)

Five, pin prick sized black spots to the hide, again, as present from new. One to the rear of the bag, near the base seam in the middle, one to the LH side panel, one to the front RH side and two to the base on the lower LH side, (see last photo above).

The reason for the * rating is due to a vertical scratch to the lower RH side panel, which appears as two small catches to the leather. Nowhere near as visible to the naked eye as the close up photo makes it appear, this has been reflected in the price.

A small cluster of light, vertical scratches can be noted to the RH side of the base, from the seam, as shown above.

The interior is lined in pristine thick an utlra luxe, nutmeg toned suede with that fabulous rich, leather aroma that permeates wonderfully as you open the flap. 

Internally there is a zipped pocket and leather trimmed slip section.
