Well shaped with some minor, natural curling to the edges of the front pocket flap, the damier canvas is in a very good condition with just minor darkening to the natural creases of the sides (where it gently folds).
The moulder leather top handles are very good. Firm, still quite smooth, perfectly shaped with all edging a little dry but all in place and no lacquer loss. A few pale spots to the underside of the rear RH handle, not visible in use.
The golden brass peices are generally good but the feet display the usual scratches and paling to their apex and friction rubbing to the zip pull.
The pretty, embossed leather trim along the aperture displays light creasing with a light scuff along the rear LH side.
The smooth chocolate trim to the base and lower sides display surface impressions and hairline scratches, (no nicks or cracks) but all four corners have scuffed* and darkened, see last photo above.
The front pocket and interior is fully lined in soft red alacantre showing general use and there is a side slip pocket where the date code can be seen.
Blue pen squiggles can be noted to the inner corners and side wall.
