This is a larger sized, 100% authentic Mulberry Del Rey

in Black Glossy Goat leather with shiny silver Nickel hardware.

The more sought after, longer handled, shoulder version of the larger Del Rey, its a roomy day bag, crafted from a lightly sheened and evenly grained, supple, goatskin hide. 

 

Condition - Very Good

 

Details -

Without very close inspection, this lovely large DR looks to be in an Excellent condition. A soft but not yet slouchy silhouette, colour consistent and without wear. All corners are perfect and the shoulder straps firm with inking, (edge sealent) in place.

Protective film in place underneath the flap, on the top lockplate, the lower plate displays a few, very light friction rubs to its perimeter.

The Postmans Lock Plate is excellent with only the most miniscule hairline polish scratches and the padlock retains its protective film.

Some extremely slight crazing to the inner side of the rear RH sides D Ring (see photos above) and a gentle undulation to the RH side of the front pocket flap, just behind were the clochette naturally sits. 

A small, very hard to see, slightly flatter, variation in the grain on the front, lower middle of the bag, just above the seam and a vertical fingernail scuff to the upper RH side, (viewable only when you angle the bag).

The rear displays some light, horizontal fingernail scuffs, again, much less visible to the naked eye than the photo makes these appear.

Lots of shallow surface impressions to the base that look like natural striations when viewed straight-on. When you angle the bag sharply away from you to view, these appear more akin to light scuffs, but they really are extremely difficult to see in normal use.

Lined in clean black Mulberry tree repeat fabric with a suede lined front pocket flap, zipped internal pocket and leather trimmed slip section.
