This is a 100% authentic Louis Vuitton Monogram Animaux Squirrel Zip Around Coin Purse in Amarante Vernis with shiny gold tone hardware.

An incredibly cute piece from the Valentines Animaux collection (2010), inspired by Gaston Vuitton’s wife who ran a toy store on Avenue Marceau from 1945 to 1970.

One of four designs released, this one is crafted from an embossed rich, plum toned, sparkly patent vernis with an appliqued squirrel created from monogram canvas, metallic silver, coral watersnake with a tawny yellow ear. A miniture, engraved LV rivet as a eye, its such a quirky, fun and utterly adorable little piece.

Unused, just stored since purchase the only reason its not brand new is due to the tiny friction scratches around the zip pull hole.

A very small, extremely light fingernail scuff to the interior RH side of the back wall, from handling.

Lined in smooth, burgundy calfskin with smooth running zip around.
