in Oak Natural leather with brass hardware.

The precursor to the Small Bayswater Satchel, made without the shoulder strap, the Ledbury is a perfectly proportioned, compact day bag.

Crafted from a fabulously firm and thick, rich oak hide...this is a bag that will just grow lovelier and lovelier with age.

Well shaped and without any real wear, the leather is a beautiful caramel oak shade and one that will continue to develop a wonderful grain with use.

 General patination throughout, its a hide that will deepen over time and blend any marks with ease.

Natural burnishing to the curves of the base corners and some increased patination and slight darkening to the top handles from being hand held.

Surface impressions to the top flap from the handle bases, as is commonly seen on this model.

 Inking is all excellent around the top aperture and handles, until you get to the handle bases which have softened slightly and resulted in ruffled* inking, [edge selant] (see photos above).

Stitching all in place excepting one tiny, dropped stitch to the front RH handle base. This doesn't affect the bag structurally or aesthetically.

Hardware is very good with light friction rubbing around the turnlock hole and to the sides of the turnlock end.

Self lined in clean but quite ruffled suede, the aperture of the bag can be altered via the internal belt. Please note this model has an inside slip pocket, (not zipped).

A small, round mark can be noted to the interior rear trim, inside the bag in the middle, (see photo of serial number), just to the LH side.
