Gloriously characterful patina thats developed though use and love, she's nicely softened with a beautiful, rich grain throughout (and a fabulously creasy RH side!)....this classic Bays positively oozes old school charm.

Very robust, extremely strong leather, she's super comfortable to wear with a relaxed shoulder drop of 16.5cm...she's a real work-horse, carrying load with ease, so perfect for work or play.

Details -

Crafted from a wonderfully thick and grainy NVT leather, its one of those bags that has just got better and better with age.

Supple, slouchy but not completely puddlesome, she's nicely softened with an amazingly creasy RH side panel,..... compared to the rest of her.

A light patina throughout, there are three quite vague, small, round marks to the front. One to the upper LH side, one middle and one on the very bottom RH side, (see last photo collage above)

No real wear, the corners are darkened and burnished but not scuffed, the shoulder straps are softened and darkened, but not stretched and inking, (edge sealent) is in place though dry and worn to the top area and handle bases.

The Postmans Lock Plate displays a light, diagonal scratch to the upper RH side and there is fruction rubbing around the hole. The underside plate shows shiny friction rubbing, the base plate is very good. Scratches to the base feet and paling to their apex with curly corners to the four leather patches that sit beneath.

The interior is generally clean but ruffled, with some speckly, dot marks to the base panel.

Excellent workmanship, with many, many more years of service left to give.
