Launched in 1930 as the "Express" and inspired by that era's travel revolution, the Speedy is the ultimate Louis Vuitton icon. The original and complete city bag, it is the stylish companion of the girl about town.

Used and loved but with lots and lots of life left, this pretty, medium sized Speedy is a perfect day bag that you'll never need to baby!

  Condition - Well Used

Details - 

The canvas is supple, without marks, scratches, splits or cracks but there are four areas of rubbing to the surface of the print, each at the upper curve, (see last photo collage above).

Rubbing to the vachette piping on the upper, rear left curve which looks very texturally rough in the close up photo, though to the naked eye its barely noticable.

Light surface rubs and smoothing to the finish at the base corners from wear which shows as print loss on close inspection.

The vachette trims are evenly honeyed without visible marks though the top handles display general darkening from being held and a few very light marks. Red (inking/edging) is nicely glossy and in place and stitching is all in place throughout.

Hardware displays scratching and some minor tarnish to the embossed rivets. The padlock displays scratching and oxidisation with an area of tarnish to the RH side.

The interior shows general use with a round mark to the lining of the middle base and an oval stain to the LH side of this, as shown.
