Chanel Vintage Medium Square Classic 2.55 Double Flap Bag in Black Lambskin with Gold Hardware - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic, Chanel Vintage Medium Square Classic 2.55 Double Flap Bag in Black Lambskin with Gold Hardware.

So rare to now find in this size, this is a taller bag that the current medium with a shorter shoulder strap....and in an incredible condition for her age.

Details - 

Well shaped and colour consistent, there is very little actual wear at all.

Corners are very good, the quilt is naturally deflated with age and there are some extremely light fingernail scuffs to the soft lambskin around the CC clasp (see botton RH photo in the quad collage of the clasp from all angles)

Stitching is all in place and holding stitches tight.

As happens with age, the form of the bag compresses slighty and horizontal crease-lines appear, which can be noted across the lower front of the bag.

The 24k gold plated hardware is excellent. Bright, shiny without dulling or tarnish, both the CC clasp and interwoven chain strap are superb with only tiny hairline scratches. The underside and the base plate of the clasp are very good and there is only a very tiny area of slight paling to the very end of the vertical staff.

The leather of the shoulder strap is excellent also, without wear, stretching or fading.

The interior zip header has impressed onto the LH side of the inside flap curve as is often seen on these pieces and the centre of the flap has a light crease.

The interior is entirely clean with numerous, light fingernail scuffs as shown in the Photo Gallery above. No flaking or peeling.
