This is how Mulberry describe their revamped masterpiece. "The Bayswater is a Mulberry icon and has been one of our most popular styles since it arrived in 2003. Now, over a decade later, Creative Director Johnny Coca has taken the iconic style and refined some key features to further enhance the beauty and practicality of its design. For the Small Bayswater the strap attachment has been optimised. New branding has been added under the flap. We want the classic, elegant aesthetic of the Small Bayswater to endure for decades to come."

Details -

A very structured silhouette, without very close inspection, this beautiful bag looks brand new. Only when you look closely can you note two scratches* to the reverse of the bag, on the black handle bases, (see last photo quad above). A light fingernail scuff to the rear, RH middle, upper side (only visible if you angle the bag away from you to view) and a barely there, very small surface scuff to the front, upper LH side of the Postmans Lock.

The Postmans Lock Plate, D rings and clip ends are excellent and as these new pieces hardware benefit from a semi matte finish, any hairline scratches acquired in use will be barely visible.

Protective film in place on the base plate, all edging and stitching is perfect and top handles display one very light surface fingernail scuff to the front, upper LH side.

The interior is lined in clean, soft burgundy coloured suede with a leather slip pocket and zip section.

A small smudge of inking to the suede on the inner RH side wall and two to the edge of top flap, (either side of the turnlock hole), as present from construction.

Made in Turkey.
