The leather is stunning. A dark, bitter chocolate shade.....rugged, robust and ultra grainy, mixing smooth grain and creasy character fabulously. Glorious rich darwin aroma with that gorgeous glossiness that only develops with time and use.
The top flap is softened and there are light surface scuffs thoughout, with a 5mm diagonal scratch to the leather on the front middle, (concealed when the flap is closed), a 15mm light, horizontal scratch to the lower front, RH side and a linear, dotted scuff to the LH side.
Stitching is all strong and structurally its a real workhorse of a bag with the usual wear and drying to the inking at the sides and corners.
The side pocket flaps are gently curled as is often seen on this style but all self locating poppers hold well and hardware is excellent throughout. The old style, glossy brass finish with lovely bronze glints...its a beautiful finish, so sadly discontinued.
The interior suede is very ruffled, almost shaggy, and though clean, has one area of blue pen marking to the rear wall on the upper LH side.
A Mulberry you'll never need to baby and will last and last!
