Without close review, this fabulous Bayswater looks brand new.
Though protective film is not in place on the lockplates, they are completely pristine, without any evidence of use.
No wear, perfect corners, the stiff, thick leather is rather reminiscent of Darwin, so will age incredibly well.
An even, but deep grain, there is a linear surface impression on the upper, RH rear side of the bag, present from the time of purchase and natural, lighter striations on the sides of the shoulder strap.
Inking (edge sealent) and stitching all in place, light indents can be noted on the top flap from the handle bases, as is commonly seen with this design.
The only reason this fabulous Bays hasn't achieved an As New rating is dut to the light, curved fingernail scuffs to the reverse of the bag, on the middle LH side. Only visible when you angle the bag, these can be greatly improved by a little Colonill Gel and will eventually completely blend.
Two small, fingernail scuffs to the front, LH side on the base curve, again, barely there.
Self lined in entirely clean suede with zipped pocket and two slip sections.
