Very lightly carried, there's no real wear to the leather. A very matte hide, there's no colour transfer but this finish does have a tendency to look different shades due to the dyeing process.
A very small, dark mark to each side of the base, (LH and RH), there's no scuffing to the trims, no scratches or rubs and just one, single, barely there, curved fingernails scuff to the middle of the base.
The oval base has more rigidity than the rest of the construction but this has developed a slight undulation in storage.
Base feet all display surface scratches to their apex, the remainder of the hardware is very good with just some small dings to the embossed balls of the tassles, where they clack together in use.
The tassles are slightly kinked with some stray inking, (edge sealent) present along their bottoms which was present from new. One singular tassle on the RH side has a vague, light blueish mark.
Again present at the time of purchase is a small, stray glue mark to the front LH side, just above the eyelet and one to the inner side of the LH shoulder strap, on the inside of the bag, (see photos above).
The shoulder strap is clean without any darkening, scuffs or marks and inking is all in place. However, the reason for the * rating is due to the slight movement of the interior piping inside the rolled and stiched strap. The LH side has a 3cm gap in its 'skeleton' which when squeezed between your thumb and finger you can feel as less firm than the other side. In use this is completely unnoticable and does not affect the bag structurally or aesthetically, but has been reflected in the price.
