 This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Abingdon Small Shoulder Bag in Damson Chester Goatskin leather with shiny gold tone hardware.

Rare to now find and a member of the highly coveted 'Chester' range, the Abingdon is a perfectly sized, day to evening bag.

Tuck the strap in to carry as a clutch or carry on the shoulder. It has a useful rear slip pocket and a handy front pocket and plenty of room inside for all your essentials.

Crafted from an incredibly beautiful and robust, grainy goats hide, tanned in the UK and craftsman assembled in Spain, its instantly recognisable by its chunky flip-lock clasp and intense gold hardware.

These Chester bags had huge RRP's, even for 2007, but you can immediately see why, with their high quality finish, and fabulous attention to detail. 

A stunning, rich and glossy blackcurrent toned leather, its a vintage delight in a stunning condition!

Details -

The leather is superb. No wear, corners and trim are excellent and its entirely colour consistent throughout.

An exceptionally strong, yet supple hide, there are natural striations throughout and all stitching strong and inking is in place with just the very tiniest crackling to the edges of the shoulder strap.

Light friction rubbing between the two plates and some scratching* to the Postmans Lock plate as shown in the photos above. 

Shoulder strap is excellent and the fully lined, hardy, chocolate, Mulberry tree repeat, silky grossrain interior is pristine.
