Though rare for the Nest to sell such a preloved piece, this Mulberry is just so utterly stunning, I rather swooned when I saw her. Gloriously glossy with a fabulous texture thats developed though time and love. Well softened, almost sublimely squidgey with a beautiful, rich grain throughout, she positively oozes old school charm.

Very robust, extremely strong leather....one of those bags thats just improved with age and use. Super comfortable to wear with a shoulder drop of 17.5cm and a real work-horse, carrying load with ease, so perfect for work or play.

The chocolate shade is sadly now discontinued too....so becoming a rare treat from Mulberry's finest design era.

Details -

Crafted from a wonderfully thick, robust, dark bitter chocolate toned NVT leather, its one of those bags that makes you remember why Mulberry became great.

Lots of fabulous creasiness and glossiness that only comes with loving care and maintenance, by its owner, over many years together.

No real wear to the leather, just a very light diagonal surface scratch to the front RH side strap panel a small scuff to the front LH side, below the flap, the corners are very good with only light scuffs and stitching all strong throughout.

Inking, (edge sealent) is in place though slightly dry with crackling and a little loss to flap inlets, above where the handle bases sit.

The shoulder straps are well softened with minor inking loss at the bases and crackling to the sides.

The hardware displays scratching to the base feet, a little rubbing around the turnlock, (which has a nice, soft turn) and there are friction rubs between the lockplates, causing the discolouration.

The interior is self lined suede, ruffled but generally clean with just a few very small pen marks to the corner, (see photo above)

Leather 'Made in Label' has sheared off in use but most likely to have been made in China.

Excellent workmanship....the epitome of Mulberry's glory years and its a bayswater with many, many more years of service left to give.
